📸 Update your heatmap screenshot in a couple of clicks
Web pages come in all shapes and sizes. And with things like lazy-loading, interactive experiences, and pop-ups, it can be tricky to capture the right moment in time in a heatmap. That’s why we added a screenshot retaker that allows you to take control and capture a screenshot that most accurately represents the page you want to analyze.
This new update means you can quickly fix broken screenshots of what’s currently live on your site, but that’s not all. It can also take you back in time and retake screenshots for an older version using the date filters, or for an experiment variant using our Events API.
When it’s time to update a heatmap screenshot, you have two options:
- Refresh: This option finds the last recording of the page and automatically updates the screenshot.
- Take new: This option allows you to find the right screenshot by going backward or forward in time on the actual recording used to generate the original screenshot.
