Hotjar now integrates with Unbounce so you can see the real user behavior behind winning (and losing) variants, and hear directly from your users about their landing page experience.
With the Unbounce integration, you can view session recordings and heatmaps for A/B tests and display surveys on different variants. This means you can easily compare behavior across pages to get a deeper understanding of why one variant outperformed anotherđź’ˇ With an extra layer on insight on experiments, you can confidently pick your champions and optimize for conversions.

Here’s how it works
To get started, enable the Unbounce integration from integrations settings in Hotjar. You need to be a site admin or owner to do this. From there, go to Filters in Heatmaps, Recordings, Dashboard, Trends, or Funnels and click on “Unbounce” under the Experiment category. Simply search for the Unbounce page you’re running experiments on to filter by its variants and see the behavior behind your experiment results.
From the Targeting section in a survey, choose the event targeting option and add the A/B test variant name you want to collect feedback on. Click save and your survey will show right away!
The Unbounce integration is available on Observe and Ask Business and Scale plans.
