Now, you can mark a highlight as “resolved” and filter for both resolved and open highlights. As well as that, both the number and percentage of clicks on an element are now visible on your heatmap highlights. These improvements give you more control over managing your highlights and more relevant data where you need it most.
We’ve added a new way for you to better manage your highlights by marking those you’ve already actioned as “resolved”. You can then filter highlights by “Status” to view only “resolved” or “open” highlights. This new update allows you to declutter your list of highlights and only focus on the most relevant insights.
How you can use it: If you created a highlight of a bug on your site and shared it with the engineering team for a fix, now you can declutter your list of highlights by marking it as resolved once the fix has been implemented.
You can now create a heatmap highlight that displays the number and percentage of clicks on a specific element on your site. All you need to do is click on the site element from a heatmap to create a highlight, and both the # and % of clicks will show up. What’s even better is that when you download a highlight, the click data will also show on your PNG—this comes in handy when you’re adding insights to business cases, presentations, or tasks. The number and percentage of clicks will only show when you click on an element and not when you select a region to highlight.
How you can use it: If you notice that visitors are clicking on a site element that isn’t clickable, you can create a highlight that contains click data of the user behavior and share it with the team. These kinds of insights can help you make the right decisions based on your users’ needs.
